    Caution

    The following issues have been reported with Unreal Engine 5.2:

    Symptom: Memory leaks can occur when running apps.
    Condition: Unreal Editor Project Settings > Targeted RHIs is set to Default or DirectX 12.
    Occurs even when the Spatial Reality Display UE plugin is not being used.
    Tip: Add “r. D3D12. BreadCrumbs=0” to Project folder/Config/DefaultEngine.ini.
    If the issue is not resolved, use Unreal Engine 5.1.

    Preventing image degradation when the PC resolution is set to a value other than 100%

    Symptom: There are instances where the image is not rendered smoothly and has jagged edges.
    Condition: The display scale for Spatial Reality Display on the PC is not at 100%.
    Tip 1: Access Display Settings and select 100% for Display Scale.
    Tip 2: When creating an app on Unreal Editor: Access Project Settings on Unreal Editor and add a checkmark to the "Allow High DPI in Game Mode" checkbox.
    Tip 3: After completing an app: Access App Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings and add a checkmark to the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" checkbox.
    Trying one of the above tips may help resolve the issue. *If it affects the operation of the app, undo the action.
