About the Game Engine Support Version

  1. Unity

    We provide plugins for Unity 2021.3, 2022.3 and 2023.2.

  2. Unreal Engine

    1. We provide plugins for Unreal Engine 4.27 5.3 and 5.4.
    2. The Template, which contains the assets needed for Spatial Reality Display application development, is available.

    Caution

    The following issues have been reported with Unreal Engine 5.2:

    Symptom: Memory leaks can occur when running apps.

    Condition: Unreal Editor Project Settings > Targeted RHIs is set to Default or DirectX 12.

    Occurs even when the Spatial Reality Display Unreal Engine plugin is not being used.

    Tip: Add “r. D3D12. BreadCrumbs=0” to Project folder/Config/DefaultEngine.ini.

    If the issue is not resolved, use Unreal Engine 5.1.

    Preventing image degradation when the PC resolution is set to a value other than 100%

    Symptom: There are instances where the image is not rendered smoothly and has jagged edges.

    Condition: The display scale for Spatial Reality Display on the PC is not at 100%.

    Tip 1: Access Display Settings and select 100% for Display Scale.

    Tip 2: When creating an app on Unreal Editor: Access Project Settings on Unreal Editor and add a checkmark to the "Allow High DPI in Game Mode" checkbox.

    Tip 3: After completing an app: Access App Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings and add a checkmark to the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" checkbox.

    Trying one of the above tips may help resolve the issue. *If it affects the operation of the app, undo the action.

  1. Spatial Reproduction Display Plugin for Preview

    Project 3D models directly from various DCC tools.

  2. Spatial Reproduction Display Player

    This player allows you to view 3D models.

Firmware

Update the software of the main unit of the spatial Reality display.Please download from the User Guide's Firmware.

If you wish to use a system developed using this SDK for commercial purposes, please apply for a license agreement. Please refer to the following link when developing applications for commercial purposes using this SDK.

Setup

To start development the application for the Spatial Reality Display, please follow the directions below to set up:

1. Setup Spatial Reality Display

Setup Spatial Reality Display explains how to connect the Display to the PC and configure Windows Settings.*1

2. Setup Spatial Reality Display Settings

Setup Spatial Reality Display Settings explains how to install Spatial Reality Display Settings.

In addition, Spatial Reality Display Settings app explains how to configure the SDK Settings.

3. Set up the needed Plugins

Spatial Reality Display SDK supports Unity and Unreal Engine.*2 Please Set up the necessary plugins on Unity Quickstart or Unreal Engine Quickstart.

4. Spatial Reality Display Unboxing and Setup Guide

This video introduces the accessories and outilnes the setup procedure.

*1 Computer required with a recommended CPU of Intel Core i7-9700K @3.60GHz or faster; and a graphics card such as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER or faster.
*2 Recommend use of “high resolution, quality images” created using Unity or Unreal software.
