environmental employee network, organized a variety of ways for employees to learn about, engage with, and contribute to our environmental efforts. Events ranged from educational sessions to hands-on volunteering opportunities in partnership with local environmental organizations.

In May, SNA welcomed over 1,000 students for a beach clean-up, empowering them to take an active role in environmental stewardship. In addition to volunteering, employees contributed with photography and drone support. This year's aerial artwork, themed "Making Ripples," was captured using Sony's AirPeak S1 drone.

In April, SNA supported FourBlock, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting returning U.S. service members in their transition from military service to meaningful civilian careers. SNA held an Interviewing Successfully session for program participants at our San Diego headquarters. This session paired participants with employee volunteers to practice mock interviews and explore strategies for navigating this next chapter of their careers.

SNA announced The Roots Initiative as a recipient of a Sony Create Action grant in April. The Chicago-based nonprofit teaches Black youth to become the architects and leaders of transformative civic and social change in their communities and beyond by providing social and emotional support, education, and resources. Their vision in actualized through youth leadership and civic engagement.

In June, SNA celebrated Pride Month with the theme "Making History Now." LGBTQIA+ employee network, Equality ALLiance (eNet), promoted equality through education and awareness. Activities included participation in the Human Rights Campaign's Bowling for Equality fundraiser and a Sony-sponsored blood drive.

The Sony Summer Challenge is now underway, for every kilometer completed by participants, Sony will make a donation to Save the Children, an international organization committed to improving the lives of children around the world. Additionally, the top three teams in each league will have the opportunity to donate prize money to a charity of their choice, further enhancing the Challenge's spirit of giving.

Since 2013, Sony UK Technology Centre (UK TEC) in Pencoed has raised fund for the Princess of Wales Hospital's Children's Ward in Bridgend. Recently, 60 team members participated in a 30-mile charity walk, raising over £7,500. An additional £4,000 was raised at the annual Charity Football Day on May 3rd.

In May, over 100 employees in total joined to do clean up in the park, river, canal and beach in Hungary, Poland and UK.

At the end of May, teams from Prague and Bratislava joined forces for a volunteer event to help preserve the Jizera Mountains in the Czech Republic. A total of 24 volunteers worked alongside forest rangers, assisting with weeding, clearing branches, painting an animal feeding rack, and helping restore the forest after winter.
Sony India
Starting in February 2024, Sony India launched a three-year program in partnership with Jaipur Foot, a part of Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS). This initiative provides artifitial limbs, callilers, crutches, hand-pedaled tricycles, and hearing aids to individuals who have lost mobility due to railway or road accidents, landmines or shootings in conflict zones, or illnesses like diabetes.
Sony EMCS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
In celebration for Earth day in April, Sony EMCS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. conduct monthly cleanup activity and around 30 employees participating each month to gather approximately 7 to 10 kg of wastes. Sony India Software Centre rolled out tree planting in the ETV campus, e-Waste collection and more.
Sony Foundation Australia
Sony Foundation has established You Can Centres across Australia, providing specialized care for cancer patients aged 15 to 29. These centres address the unique needs of young people undergoing treatment, offering a supportive space where they can connect with peers, access age-appropriate care, and engage in well-being activities. In May, Sony Foundation, alongside Nova radio hosts, hosted a Pizza Party at the Melbourne centre, offering patients a joyful break from treatment. Such events are vital in fostering a sense of community and resilience for both patients and their families.

In Mongolia Autonomous Region and Yulin, Shaanxi Province, science activities were held for children. Around 3,000 participants took part in various events, including a special 4K3D science fiction film screening, SES science shows, SES science classes, and toio™ workshops.
Sony Global Manufacturing & Operations Corporation
From May to June, cleanup activities were conducted at various sites, focusing on coastlines and commuting routes. At the Kisarazu site, 38 employees participated in cleaning up the Banzu tidal flats, stretching from the Obitsu River estuary in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture to Tokyo Bay. In Inazawa, 80 employees joined the "Spring Zero Waste Campaign in Inazawa" alongside local residents. Additionally, 72 employees from the Koda site took part in cleaning the areas around the company and the nearest station.
Sony Corporation
As an opportunity for employees to easily participate in volunteer activities, we conducted wood blocks finishing event during lunch break at the BRIDGE TERMINAL on the 24th floor of Sony City Osaki. The volunteers filed the blocks into a beautiful shape. The completed blocks donated to a local nursery school.
