DSD Direct Stream Digital

The DSD recording technology allows reproducing the immersive pure audio with music expression far beyond CD.

Direct Stream Digital (DSD) is fundamentally different from conventional Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) encoding technology used for audio CDs and so on.
This technology provides a 1-bit digital pulse density (variation) in voice signal size while PCM is based on sampling frequency and bit resolution.

This waveform has a shape close to the sound wave itself similar to the compression wave of the sound propagating through space.

The feature of audio files employed DSD format is the reproduction of sounds that are infinitesimally close to the original source material by securing at the same time both an extremely wide playback frequency range far beyond 100kHz theoretically and a sufficient dynamic range within an audible band.
